Blending Option Magic in Adobe Photoshop

In this advanced Adobe Photoshop tutorial I will discuss how to mask and blend semi-transparent objects, like water, into an image. This technique uses the Blending Options found in the Layer Styles dialog in Adobe Photoshop. This feature is available in Adobe Photoshop 6 and in the current shipping version of Adobe Photoshop CC. This is an extremely useful technique for masking semi-transparent objects without having to create super complex masking layers.

In this Adobe Photoshop CC tutorial, I will demonstrate two great techniques that every Photoshop user should know. First, I will demonstrate how to change the speed of a video clip. This is so useful for adjusting time-lapse and video clips. Then second, I will show how to use Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) to make non-destructive color corrections.

Creating Simple Animations with Premiere Clip

I will be discussing how to create a simple animation with Adobe Premiere Clip on an iPhone or Android device. In the first half of this series, I demonstrated how to convert color images to sepia toned images. This second part will show how to make an animation that uses these sepia toned images. In this tutorial I will demonstrate a classic technique to match colors in Adobe Photoshop. I discovered this technique in the beginning of time and it is still just as helpful today. This technique uses the RGB, grayscale channels to adjust colors within an image.

This tutorial will give you the step by step instructions for this advanced video technique in Adobe Photoshop. The final step of this tutorial will demonstrate my favorite video export settings for best results when importing into Instagram.
